Help Save Brian Chrislock Jr.

Brian was admitted to the hospital Sunday with 104.1 temp, heart rate was 137, BP was 80/30. He was admitted into ICU  He is out of ICU now and was transferred today to the Hematology floor.  His vitals are doing better. They think all this was brought on from the weaning of his steroids and his body wasn't adjusting. Brian is in good spirits, when I went to see him last night he was playing with his Transformer and he told me he was feeling good. He is getting a treatment today and hopefully...

Brian saw his Metabolic/Neurologist Dr. Hass, He was AMAZED at how GREAT
Brian is doing and looking!! Mom got to look at his MRI's and compared then to the MRI he had done before his Transplant and the white matter in the brain has SIGNIFICANTLY
DECREASED! 4 other research Doctors came in to meet Brian! Dr. Hass is sending all of Brian's info to the Kennedy Kreiger Research department for ALD to follow Brian as well.

Brian is officially off the immune suppressant med (prograft) he is down to 5...

Really not much to report other than Brian is doing pretty good except he is being treated for severely swollen Lymph Nodes in his neck. Very tender and hurts when he eats and drinks. Please remember him in your prayers Thank You.

Brian is doing real good!! There was a Fundraiser for him at Barrio Logan Winery today, Brian was there and got to meet all the people that came out to support him. Thank you everyone for your concern and support for Brian. A BIG THANK YOU to Juan Diaz for having the Fundraiser at his Winery and all the GREAT people that put this together today!!!!!

Brian is taking a nap right now and doing very well with his treatment!! All the labs are looking GREAT and his stool is now NORMAL!! YAY...LOL...Brian wanted to make sure to let you all know!! He has been feeling really good. Make A Wish sent a letter letting Brian know that they will be coming out to ask what his biggest wish is,  he wanted a swimming pool but they can't make that wish for him so we will see what else he wants.

Brian hasn't complained about any abdominal pain since last Friday! I hope the Doctors have finally figured out what is going on!  On July 10th there will be a Fundraiser for Brian,  a coworkers husband of Brian's dad  wanted to help Brian so he put this together for him. Brian was released from the Hospital last night about 7pm, Finally!!!! His Blood test came back positive for Respiratory Syncytial Virus , Adenovirus which would explain the fluid around his heart according to the Doctors. Doctor said the biopsy stains show Epstein-Barr Virus, Posttransplant Lymphoproliferative Disease  GRAFT vs HOST DISEASE. But, they keep saying it doesn't make sense because Brian is doing so good. Brian is complaining about his legs hurting today, he has an appointment...
