Brian had a seizure today, the Doctor's aren't sure what caused it but he is getting anti seizure medicine now. He had a cat-scan and MRI done, cat-scan was good & MRI results will be tomorrow. Brian is doing good right now. Mom was with him when it happened and she did a great job at staying calm and helping Brian through it. Please keep him in your prayers! Thank You!

Brian still has some hair fighting to stay on his head! !He continues to do very well and has an appetite. He also continues to surprise the Doctor's on how well he is doing...That of course is great to hear! Thank you all again for continuing to pray for Brian. It brings us great joy to know how many people care!!

Brian is getting back to himself, he's feeling better as each day goes by! He has a smile on his face again! He spends his day watching TV and challenging Mom at Super Mario. Numbers are still at 0.

Brian is doing real good, his food stayed down today! His hair is slowing falling out and he doesn't have a problem with it at all. What a trooper!!! Counts are still at 0. Sorry for the slow updates, my computer is at the hospital with Lily and Brian so I update when I can.

Brian's  ANC

 absolute neutrophil count

his counts are at 0 as of today An ANC of 500 or more for 3 days in a row is a sign of engraftment. Engraftment can occur as early as 10 days after transplant. For patients who receive cord blood, the average time to neutrophil engraftment is between 21 and 35 days. ...Now we wait for engraftment to happen =)
His hair is also starting to fall out...He thought it was funny!!=) Brian continues to be doing very well. T...

WOW!!! Brian is having a FANTASTIC DAY!!! It's like his New Cells Cleansed him overnight. He is back to being a chatter-box and eating again!! I can only pray it continues this way. The doctor's say he'll have great days and bad days. Maybe this is a sign that he'll do GREAT and continue to have FANTASTIC DAYS!!!

Brian had a GREAT DAY!!!! TODAY WAS D-DAY (TRANSPLANT DAY). Everything went very good!
Transplant time was at 11:00 a.m, he watched as it went into the line in his chest.The hospital calls it his rebirth so they sang Happy Birthday to him and made it very special for him. He had a slight headache after but the doctor's think it was from his high blood pressure during the transplant. He slept for awhile and later in the evening he was playing Mario with his dad so he was feeling...
